Background & Training
I Graduated from The Massage Therapy Program from Lane Community College and have both my State/ National certification to practice massage in the State of Oregon. I am very knowledgeable in the field of massage with 635 hours in the classroom and have over 1000 hours of hands on experience using a variety techniques of Deep Tissue, Swedish, Reflexology, Trigger Point, Sports Injury, Passive/Active Release(PIR,PFS,CRAC), Hydrotherapy, Myafacial Release, Shiatsu, and chair massage. My kinesiology teacher is one of the leading chiropractors in the state and taught the class far more advanced material then required by the massage program.
I have used therapeutic massage on people that have injured there Neck, Spine, Shoulder, Lower Back, and ACL surgery that have been involved in sports/car/on the job accidents. I also have experience working with people with a variety of Pathologies stemming from Sciatica, Chrones, Fibromyalgia, Torticcollis, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Ankylosis Spondylitis, Cancer, Plantar Fasciiitis, Pregnancy(first-third trimester), Post-Pregnancy, and those that are stressed out that need to relax. I use my knowledge and talent to fit the needs of my clients.
I have worked doing massages at my office, Bochetto Day Spa in Cottage Grove, Stillwater Salon in Lowell,the Saturday market in Cottage Grove, the Eugene Marathon,The Butte to Butte race in Eugene, The Fall Run & Walk in Eugene, the Chocolate Festival in Springfield, Bohemia Mining Days in Cottage Grove, the Rhododendron Festival in Florence, the YMCA, the Eugene Celebration, the Shades Of Pink at the Hilton in Eugene, and massaged at the Olympic Trial (9 out of 11 days totaling 64 hours massaging Top Elite athletes in the medical center area) in Eugene .
